    Free Book * by @BrianTome

Do you desire to live in freedom? That is the basic thrust of this book, living in the freedom God has ordained for your life.

Brian comes to this book from the perspective of a pastor who has see way too much crap in the church to keep quiet any longer. His pastoral heart is to see not only the people in his congregation receive the fullness of Christ's freedom, but anyone who will read his book.

God has more freedom for us in our lives than we could ever imagine and most of us don't live in that freedom at all.

The idea of freedom is very attractive as well as understandable in the way Brian puts it in this book.

Brian looks at certain places where people get hung up and don't live in freedom and those main places are: Fear, Religion, Identity, Strongholds, The Spirit World, Having "Squatters", the normal Highs, lows and victories in life, Community and Grace alongside of Truth.

Those are of course his chapters in nutshells. All of his points I fully agree with and I truly enjoyed reading this book, and definitely have a ton to walk away with. However, I don't feel he was super original in his content. A ton of what he said has already been said, so that was a "down" point for me with this book.

Brian comes as a pastor and with a pastors perspective and that alone engaged me to what he was going to say next. Brina proved through authentic writing and gut-wrenching honesty that he is not only a theorist when it comes to living free, but a practitioner! This came about by much life lived and many hard points along the way, but he is in fact a practitioner of what he talks about.

    BEST PARTS & Take-Aways

My favorite parts of this book came about within the pages of "Strongholds" and his chapters on the Spirit World. Many times when it comes to Christian books, the Holy Spirit and the Spiritual battles we fight oddly go unmentioned. But here, in Free Book Brian goes right into the discussion and opens up the readers mind to the fact that we have a REAL enemy who doesn't want us in this fight. Also on strongholds, Brian is very blunt and in your face about the things you have allowed to gain a beach head in your life. This is not only pointed out, but he gives practical steps in how to hand them over to God. More to the point: on how I can hand them over to God!

All in all, this is a practical book that deserves to be read.

    SILLY NECESSARY ADDITION
